Design starts with a property survey and site analysis of existing conditions. This provides us with grades, dimensions, the location of existing features unique to a site and an understanding of opportunities and constraints. Through discussion with a client, we identify design goals, objectives and planting preferences.
Stage 2: Conceptual Design Drawings
Conceptual designs are created to showcase various options and associated levels of expenditure. Dependent on the size of the property and/or area, two or more concepts are created and presented for a client to review as a scaled C.A.D. based plan. Images of proposed materials, plantings, and scaled elevations or sketches for areas of detail are typically included.
Stage 3: Construction Drawings for the chosen Design
After design features and materials have been reviewed and a conceptual design has been approved, construction drawings are produced to achieve the final look for your budget. Drawings typically include materials, grading, layout, planting, and lighting plans, with associated details. The drawings then guide the construction process in its entirety, or as a phased-in approach.
Stage 4: Construction Management
As a team, we work together to ensure your design becomes a reality for you to enjoy with your family and friends for summers to come!
